Grid is back!

Grid is back! Im really into finding contemporary pieces that I can also wear for years to come. On a side note, Halloween is in 3 days! Ill be working but hopefully we'll get to leave early (say a little prayer for me) Also Halloween is so much more fun when you're younger or have kids, I'm at that awkward age where I don't get candy unless I buy some (boo) or steal some from my cute little neighbors, which they would totally share because I'm their favorite. 

I also got a costume for Lola and Lilly and they are both being princesses and I'll probably slap on a  pair of kitty cat ears and call it good.

bold and bright

Bright colors don't have to be packed away for the winter! Today I'll show you how to incorporate bold bright colors back into your wardrobe! With fall and winter approaching many women bring out the browns, blacks and grays. These colors are easy and literally go with everything. But honestly who wants to blend in? This dress, with its super fun sleeves is perfect for any day and can easily be layered with a fun jacket or vest. Also don't think to much about it, buy clothes that can be easily incorporated into an every day look, its so important for a person to be confident and even if you add a red scarf to a black and gray ensemble I'll still be proud, at least you got away from the boring "everyday" look!

Pleats and Petals

Hello lovelies!! I recently found this pleated leather skirt and even though it was totally out of  my comfort zone I decided to pair it with a soft feminine top to make it less dramatic. I love this top because it adds so much to an outfit. The link below is a dress but quite often I turn my dresses into shirts. This trick can give so you so many more options when it comes to picking out outfits.

White after Labor Day

Talking Fall/Winter whites today and how easily it can be incorporated into an everyday outfit! I found these culottes in my closet the other day and thought throwing on one of my sweaters would be perfect. Turns out I felt super chic and sophisticated. Whites don't have to end after Labor Day! I think making sure that you don't feel out of season is by adding a piece of your winter wardrobe to the outfit. There is nothing more sexier than a confident woman!

Leopard Print and Cargo

I start my new job on Friday with Nordstrom. I am so excited but thought I needed a little closet "makeover". When I think of Nordstrom, I think of its modern tastes, contemporary style and the oh so stylish employees . So I bought this jacket and boots yesterday to get myself ready. These boots were out of my comfort zone but I instantly got a boost of confidence when I put them on. Confidence is one of the sexiest things a woman can be and if a certain piece of clothing gives you that confidence, then you go girl! The thing about style is that a person may grow and get a better taste to what their particular style is.

This picture was taken at the beginning of the shoot. Like I said above my confidence skyrocketed, maybe everyone should get a pair of leopard print booties!

Fall Florals

Now that it's getting a little chillier I am starting to bring out all my vests and coats. I got this vest last year and it has seriously been a major staple in my closet. It's thick and warm, which is a major plus! I decided to pair it with a dress I got at Nordstrom and add a little pop of color with the purse. 

 

                                          These loafers have become one of my favorites and I love pairing them with my ultra feminine dresses. I also started venturing out and buying bold statement purses, Instead of black, tan and white. It gives an outfit a little extra something when using similar colors.

Fall colors

Happy October! Now that it is officially time to break out the fall outfits! Its been in the 60's low 70's all week and its been glorious! New trend, sleeveless turtlenecks. I love this outfit and these boots!
