I look for pieces that scream elegance and this top is serious sworn worthy! The peplum is so incredibly gorgeous and can be either paired with jeans or dressed up for girls night out!

 As my closet grows and the amount of space slowly dwindles, I'm starting to make more smarter decisions on what I buy. When I pick out a piece that grabs my attention my first thought is "is this my style?" As a fashion enthusiast what I put on my body means a lot to me and should make me feel confident on the inside. My second thought is what do I already have in my closet that I could pair it with? This question usually has me either buy the item or put it back on the shelf. My thought process is if you have to buy another item to make this piece look better then its probably not worth it!

tips on how to dress like a parisian woman

Feeling a little Parisian on the blog today and loving it! Everyday when I decide on what to wear I like to put on an outfit where I feel confident and chic and also a little Parisian. Parisian women are probably the most stylish women in the world. They are classy, beautiful and powerful.   These are the tips I use to dress everyday...

1. Say no to most trends, and develop a signature look.

2. Have a signature pair of shoes. (because a woman with good shoes is never ugly)

3. When in doubt, ask yourself what a modern Coco Chanel would wear.

4. Dress for yourself, and yourself only.

florals in spring

LADIES put down everything you are doing at this moment and go get this dress!! Like most of you know I love pink so when I saw this dress I knew I had to have it! Right now I love anything with bell sleeves so that plus pink flowers...sold! Its been so lovely in California lately that I'm hoping the cold/rain don't come back so I can keep my spring dresses out!

Happy Easter dolls! This dress is one of the many options I have on what to wear tomorrow, everything that I have picked out is roomy (which is a must for Easter dinner and all those sweets) but still springy and elegant. This dress is from the whowhatwear collection at Target. The thing I love most about my style is that it doesn't require a lot of money. I believe in investing in key items but then saving on the rest!

Lace and Florals

I can't believe Easter is on Sunday! This month has really flown by and finally the weather is in the 70's all week, El Nino has really been tough in the the state that rarely sees rain! So on this lovely Friday I'm giving you the perfect inspiration for this Sunday! I got this skirt at a store opening a year ago and its still one of my favorite skirts. I paired it with a lace top from the WhoWhatWear collection. I love pairing ultra femimine pieces together, it makes me feel chic and oh so sophisticated!

Napa for the weekend

    

Packing the necessities for a perfect weekend. Your favorite skirt and a sun hat! Unfortunately I didn't need it, just an umbrella and a glass of wine!

We stayed at our family friends house and they had the most gorgeous views of the valley! I sat in this chair with a glass of wine and just listened, it was so peaceful.

Even a little rain couldn't ruin our weekend in Napa! With the first day of spring all I wanted was to wear dresses and skirts! So I threw on a pair of rain boots with a skirt that is actually a dress(I just tucked the top part in the waist band) and this gorgeous blush pink sweater and created the most  perfect rainy day outfit!
