blushing in SF

We're halfway through the week can I get an amen! My weeks are jam packed with deadlines, blog posts, errands, emails, homework and that never ending pile of laundry! But my weekends are slower which allows me to seek inspiration, catch up on my magazines, grab some coffee and just think.
Keeping weekends in mind I'm making a list of my favorite spots in San Francisco!

~My all time favorite thing to do is eat. I like to try new restaurants but I always tend to wander back to my favorites.

~Another place that I love to take my pup for walks to just take in the scenery is the Pacific Heights neighborhood. My feed is full of these beautiful homes and I seriously cannot get enough!

~ If you're feeling like a beach day head on over to Baker Beach with a picnic lunch there's a beautiful view of The Golden Gate Bridge! Side note: don't go around the big rock, there's a nudist beach.

~Get a yummy pastry from Mr. Holmes Bakehouse and head over to to the Painted Ladies! I'm loving picnics at this time of year and a pretty view with a yummy snack doesn't get much better!

Obviously I'm a huge fan of blush pink and white so this combo was inevitable! My dress is one of my favorites because it's so easy to throw on and pair with ballet flats and a sweater! This cardigan is so sweet and seriously the most perfect shade of pink, definitely need it in different colors! Every woman needs her perfect ballet flats and these are mine! And last but not least my handbag which I've gotten some good use in and you'll never guess the price!

A lot of ladies have been talking about how to transition your wardrobe into fall. As a girl living in California, we don't see fall until early November! So all you ladies who are still on that summer train don't worry because I'll still bring you gorgeous summer pieces until then! My comfiest ballet flat , seriously you need these!!
Why not one more pink handbag.
And my Tommy Hilfiger sweater which I would wear everyday if I could!

Comparison and why you don't need it.

Hi darlings!
I've been going through a personal struggle lately and I'm sure many of you go through the same thing. Comparing yourself to others. Everyday we look at others that have a better body than us or better hair or that bag you've been saving up for.  Then we turn around and point out all the things we want to change about ourselves. I've been doing this quite a bit lately and I've noticed my mood changing, how I see many other women as threats and how I treat myself.
From a bloggers standpoint it's similar but also so much more difficult. Everyday I post photos that I love but after when I'm scrolling through I see things that I want, better hair, smaller waist, cuter clothes, a better camera...the list goes on and on.  It's hard not to compare yourself to others and today I'm giving you some tips on how to look at your own success and build your self confidence all while building up the ladies surrounding you.

1. Be Proud. Sit down and actually think of all the things you are proud of yourself for. Now this doesn't have to be a huge accomplishment but if it is... WOOHOO!!! Today as I sit here and write this,  something that I am proud of myself for that I did today is walking my dogs and not going to the gas station to get Cheetos. Mini accomplishment...yes but you don't have to save a life or get your PhD to feel a sense of pride.

2. Everyday stand in front of the mirror and say 5 things that you love about yourself. Talk about a mood booster!

3. You are too unique to compare fairly. Your gifts, talents, successes, contributions and value are entirely unique to you and your purpose in this world. They can never be properly compared to anyone else.

4. Comparison puts focus on the wrong person. You can control one life—yours. But when we constantly compare ourselves to others, we waste precious energy focusing on other peoples’ lives rather than our own.

5. Find inspiration without comparison. Comparing our lives with others is a waste of time. But finding inspiration and learning from others is entirely wise. Work hard to learn the difference.

I hope this helps with all you beautiful ladies struggling with comparison. It's such a hard topic and I'm sure I barely hit the surface but if this helps one of you then I have done my job. Give yourself some peace. xx

My dress is from Zara, one of my favorite stores! Definitely a go to site for ultra chic pieces for an amazing price.

new girl problems

Hi darlings! All about this dress today on this glorious Friday!
I have to be honest, I bought this dress because Amber Fillerup wore it....total Mean Girls moment. ha!
This dress is seriously the best thing since sliced bread. It's all sort of chic with its Parisian feel so I paired it with my boater hat to just wrap in the paris effect.
Side note: I'm watching New Girl for the first time today and it's making me talk weird and very randomly. So I apologize as I mutter on and on.
This week I've been doing a lot of random things, two days ago I got a tattoo of my dogs initials and I only thought about it for a couple hours. I literally had a dream I would get a tattoo the next day for  my dog and I literally did it. I feel a sense of empowerment with a little bit of badass. My best friend literally did not believe I was getting a tattoo but I did! I love it.

I was pleasantly surprised with shopbop.com  whenever I clicked over the clothes were always so ridiculously expensive BUT this magical label called "english factory" has such cute clothes without breaking the bank.
Dress which is 40% off!
and I'm also linking English Factory because of the cute ass clothes they have.

P.S I apologize for all the cussing but I do cuss alot in real life and also for the randomness today but that is "New Girl" problem...

Rachel

just wanted to say hi!

I wanted to re-introduce myself since it's been awhile! My name is Rachel and I'm the girl behind All Things Pink. Soon I will have to change my blog name to "Think All Pink" since I'm recreating my website! Super exciting! I started my blog 3 years ago wanting some sort of creative outlet... I was missing something but finally I had found my passion. My ongoing goal for my blog is to bring you a world of feminine and chic fashion.
Right now my life is very busy! Having three jobs including my blog, going to school full time and chasing my Lola around, it can get crazy but I like being busy! I just turned 21 years old and I'm currently studying Business. My future goal is to graduate college and work on my blog full time. I want to take my passion and turn it into a business.

Bringing you a dose of pink today! When I saw this dress I knew I HAD to have it! The light pink, stripes and bell sleeves...swoon!! There's also shorts attached which makes it even more comfortable! I decided to pair this pink ensemble with my two toned ballet flats which gives it more of a Parisian and chic feel to it.

One of my favorite stores that doesn't break the bank is Zara. Whenever I need something or feel my closet is lacking I head straight to Zara.

game changer: Instagram e-course

Hi ladies! Today I'm talking all about my good friend Julianna's Instagram E-course! She launched her first course a couple weeks ago but now it's better than ever with even more tips and tricks!
Read my story below

I started my blog about 3 years ago, wanting some sort of creative outlet. I was bored and needed something to look forward to doing. I started to look into blogging since I had already followed many fashion bloggers and thought I could do that! It took A LOT of guts to finally post my first #ootd and I’m sure some laughed at me. For a while all I was doing was posting my outfits but someone reached out to me and said that I should start a blog.

From that moment on I had found my passion. I started with probably 600 followers and would get maybe 11 to 12 likes on a picture. Soon my blog and my page grew but over the last couple months I was at a stand still. My blog wasn’t growing, my Instagram was lacking something but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I needed some help but didn’t know how to reach out to someone or have a company help me out. Finally a wonderful and fabulous blogger babe launched her E-course on how to grow your Instagram. I had seen these around but didn’t know if it would be a waste of time or a waste of my money. I took a leap of faith and bought her e-course. That was probably the best thing I could of done for my Instagram and blog. I read and watched the cute videos over and over again, taking everything in and writing everything down.  I learned how to create a theme for my Instagram and why that’s so important, how to set a posting goal/schedule (which I use religiously now), and how to create a community and how to reach out to companies! All her tools were incredibly helpful and many times I sat back and wondered why didn’t I think of that?! To prove to all of you on the fence about purchasing Julianna’s course, my Instagram page was at 6,000 followers two months ago.

Today as I sit here and type this I have 11.7k followers. No I didn’t buy followers. This was all from her e-course. I learned pretty much everything I know from her and to my surprise companies started to repost my pictures and now I have to make at least 3 hours a day to solely focus on my email because I have brands that want to work with me.  With that said just because you purchase her e-course doesn’t mean you will magically gain 10,000 followers and get thousands of likes on your Instagram. It’s a lot of work and her e-course will give you amazing tips and tricks to help you get to your goal.

keep your eyes open for the re-launch!
