One of my favorite things to do is to pair dark and light colors together. And if I do say so myself this is a match made it heaven! The contrast between the leather skirt and the herringbone top paired with the blush pink top adds a sense of chic-ness and elegance. Because whats better than pink and black!?

 After our little trip to San Fransisco we went to Pacific Grove, which is now one of my favorite towns. The downtown is beyond adorable with cute boutiques at every corner and the yummiest mexican food!  After experiencing the hustle and bustle of the city it was nice to take a deep breath and walk along the water. We stayed at the Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages and I defiantly will be returning. All outfit details are linked above!

We took a quick little trip to San Fransisco and had so much fun! We've seen all the touristy things but wanted to experience some secret spots! First was the Wrecking Ball Cafe, it was exquisite and we had a wonderful chat with the barista! Next up was "Top of the Mark" which was a wonderful restaurant that overlooked the whole city.  Definitely a must do!

Finding the perfect faux fur coat can be quite the job, I have a longer blush pink fur coat but I wanted an everyday one. One that I could throw on with a pair of jeans or joggers. And ladies I have found it...this blush pink faux fur coat is on major sale! I wouldn't miss out ladies! The funny thing is that skinny jeans are becoming less and less popular and what's "in" is the boyfriend jean! 

                                                                                                                                                                 I'm going on a much needed mini vacay next week and this coat will definitely be in my overnight bag! Any recommendations on what to do in Pacific Grove is greatly appreciated!

Could not find this fuzzy sweater that I got from Forever 21 two years ago but I found some similar options above!

I've been loving the trouser trend recently and these gorgeous trousers are no exceptions! I think the main reason trousers will never go out of style is they literally can be paired with anything, instant chic magnet...ha! chic not chick

Also this El Nino rain has been no joke! I love when it rains and California needs it sooo bad but maybe hold off for at least 2 hours while I shoot my outfits, please!!

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2016, seems like a "in the future" year huh?! I usually don't make new years resolutions because like most of us we end of breaking them... BUT I have come up with a couple and I really think I can make them happen. 

This year I want to attend at least three blogger conferences. I have heard amazing things about them and  its such an amazing way to connect with other brands and bloggers! 

Second resolution is to  reply to comments and emails faster...I cannot even begin to explain how appreciative of all the comments and emails I get and this year I want to get better at that! 

That is all my friends I wasn't going to bore you with "I want to get fit and healthy"...can't even deal! 

I am very excited to see what 2016 will bring and hope everyone has a happy and healthy year!
