Oui Oui

 Blush Leather Jacket(herehere) Striped Shirt(herehere)
Trousers(herehere) Shoes(here) scarf(herehere

Oui Oui, feeling like a little french girl today! I've added a little neck scarf to literally every outfit this week and I have to say that is my new obsession! Adding a little masculinity to every outfit is one of my favorite things, like these loafers and trousers!
I used to be obsessed with mixing patterns but one of my favorite items to mix are stripes and florals, a neutral in my opinion!

My year in recap!

Here is my year in recap and my most favorite pictures!

This past summer my boyfriend and I headed down the coast to visit Pismo Beach, L.A and Palm Springs! We visited the Hearst Castle which was amazing and a definite go see if you're in Pismo Beach! Next we hopped on over to L.A to have my birthday dinner at SUR, it was so exciting to see all my favorite cast members from Vanderpump Rules! Next we lounged by the pool at the coolest hotel is Palm Springs.

This photo was by totally accident, my hair had fallen in front of my face and it just so happened to be one of my favorites!

This year I also started to blog more full time. I wanted to take a bigger leap and have more outfits to post on my blog which in turn got me more collaborations and more friends on Instagram!

Love love love this shoot^^, my sister (the photographer) killed it behind the lens this year and I seriously owe her, Thanks kitty!!

I visited Seattle for the first time earlier this year and absolutely fell in love! We went to Pikes Place Market and went back about 4 more times! The flowers that lined the market was somewhat of a dream and I had Starbucks in my hand the whole trip... We stood in line at the First Starbucks and got to sip on some goodness...the white girl in me was incredibly giddy! We also visited The Chuhily Garden of Glass which was also the coolest thing ever!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you for your continued support over this past year! I appreciate every follow, like and comment! You guys are seriously the best!!

Much love,
Rachel

black vs. black

Outfit planning for NYE is in full swing and this little black feather dress might just be the one! Honestly you can't go wrong with black, just add a sparkly and flirty shoe and your look is golden! I've been looking for either a feather skirt or dress and the ones I found were expensive!! But one magical day I ran to target to get mascara and I went into the women's section and found my feather dress! Target is dangerous my friends but gosh isn't it our friend!

NYE

Now that Christmas is over, its time to start thinking about your outfit for New Years Eve! For the first time this year I'll actually be celebrating, I usually just go to bed! Real talk ladies...why do we wear little sleeveless dresses for New Years?! Its under 30 degrees SO I'm throwing that out the window and wearing a warm turtleneck and a sequin skirt! I got my sequin skirt from Target and its gorgeous! This  is a bit on the longer side and would actually be amazing with a pair of leggings and booties!
Happy New Years!

Cable Knit and Over The Knee

This sweater is from Target but I linked some similar options below! You need this sweater its so warm and oh so chic!

 Sweater (hereherehere) Skirt(here)
Jean Jacket(here) Boots(herehere) Purse(hereherehere)

When California really doesn't get a "winter" I tend to pull out my fall clothes and just put more layers on under them! For the longest time I have wanted over the knee boots, I guess I have abnormally long legs because I could never find boots that would actually go over MY knee! But one day while browsing the aisles at DSW I found them, black suede boots! They are so unbelievably gorgeous and so versatile! If you don't have a pair yet I encourage you look into buying yourself a pair...
Sadly I could not find this exact sweater but I linked a few similar ones above that are equally as gorgeous!
The wonderful thing about a black skirt is you can wear it so many ways, dress it up or down and you will look fabulous. I especially liked this one because it has a little poof to it, adding a touch of flirtation to it! You can never go wrong with a jean jacket and a black skirt!

As the holidays approach us we tend to lean towards dark colors, I am one of those people. I mean whats more chic than black on black? Also this top...swoon! I found it at Target, surprise surprise and I can't believe how gorgeous it is! Don't mind me when I wear this top 25/8!
I linked the exact top and its cheaper than I originally thought and my pumps are no longer available but I linked some other gorgeous pumps!

blush pink and sequins

 Shirt( herehere)
Pants(here)
Shoes(here)
Coat(here)
Still loving all these holiday looks, I really had no idea I had all these items to create such festive looks! Blush pink has been a favorite of mine as of late, and this sweater is no exception! I love that it can be dressed up or down and its under $20! Also mixing fabrics is fun, sequin leggings and a pink fuzzy sweater, I mean can I get an amen!!
Happy Holidays!
